The MSLT is a 30-credit interdisciplinary Master of Science focused on the convergence between law, science and technology, and situated within both the STEM and Global areas of programmatic strategic emphasis at FIU. The specially designed curriculum that can be completed in three semesters, covers key areas like artificial intelligence, blockchain, data protection, intellectual property, and cybersecurity is a perfect fit for entry level, mid-career and seasoned professionals alike who want to gain knowledge and become attractive in a competitive marketplace.

Our MSLT is the only program that includes a free bootcamp with three modules designed to build a solid academic foundation: U.S. Law, Python, and Cybersecurity. Each module features 16 hours of engaging, self-paced content and expert-led lectures.
Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent conferred by an accredited U.S. or foreign university.
Official transcripts showing a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all upper-division undergraduate coursework taken. Under exceptional circumstances, the MSLT Admissions Committee may waive the minimum required GPA if a candidate demonstrates through other means a strong potential for success in the program.
A personal statement highlighting the candidate’s strengths and background relevant to the program.
Two letters of recommendation.
A demonstrated high-level of English language proficiency for applicants from non-English speaking countries.
