How to Find Court Addresses
Finding the site of your future internship or clerkship depends on the court system you want to work with.
Federal Courts
The Ovadia CP&P Office maintains a list of addresses for the chambers of federal appellate and district court judges in Florida.
You can use OSCAR and the Federal Courts database for addresses of judges in other circuits.
State Courts
The Ovadia CP&P Office maintains a list of addresses for the chambers of district court of appeals judges in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Use the Florida Courts search function or the National Center for State Court’s CORA search to find opportunities at state court systems.
Important Tips and Reminders
- Make sure to carefully follow each organization’s application process.
- Apply by December or January if you are a 1L student interested in a summer position.
- Mail all applications. Chambers are not receptive to direct emails or calls.
- Include cover letter, résumé and a writing sample with your applications. Transcripts can be submitted later once grades are released.
