Willem C. Vis Moot at FIU Law

The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is one of the most prestigious moot court competitions in the world. The competition takes place every Spring in Vienna and Hong Kong and provides law students with a unique opportunity to engage in simulated international arbitration proceedings and network with legal professionals from around the globe.

FIU Law looks beyond domestic law, embracing an international perspective that is vital to an increasingly globalized legal landscape that values the practice of law across borders. To that end, the Willem C. Vis Moot is ideal. In 2024 alone, 365 teams took part in the oral arguments in Vienna and 150 in Hong Kong.
