Symplicity is our office’s online job posting database. Students and alumni can search through postings via the Jobs & Resume Collection dropdown menu.
Make sure to click All Jobs once you have gotten to the page showing the listings to ensure that you are able to see all available job postings. Job posting results can also be filtered by clicking More Filters to customize the search.
Once you log in, view your left menu for Resources > Document > Library to read guides on using Symplicity’s functions like conducting a CSM job search, uploading documents, placing OCI bids and more.
Deadlines
Upload your required documents 48 hours in advance to ensure time for review and approval by one of the Ovadia CP&P Office advisors.
While Symplicity deadlines close at 11:59 p.m. on the date listed, our office will only be able to review and approve documents during office hours.
Student and Alumni Access
- Go to Simplicity
Students will have an account created for them and receive access to Symplicity’s job postings around November of their first year. - Your login information is as follows:
Username = The same as your FIU email without the @fiu.edu.
Password = The same as your FIU email password
If you do not know your FIU email username or password, contact the Help Desk at 305-348-2284 or use the online account recovery tool.
Recover Access
As long as you have access to your FIU email, your username and password will remain the same as with Symplicity.
If you have lost access to your FIU email, follow the steps to recover your username.
- When you log into Symplicity, please send an email to jciminer@fiu.edu and in the body of the email include the following information: full name, year of graduation, former FIU email address and the email address you will use for your Symplicity account.
- You will then receive an email generated from the Symplicity system that will allow you to set a new password.
- Once you have set your password, going forward to access Symplicity, go to https://law-fiu-csm.symplicity.com/students and select Reciprocity Students: Username
