Biography
Danilo Castillo is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis, fiscal reporting, accounting, budgeting, auditing, and internal controls for the College of Law. He also directs all Human Resources functions for both academic and non-academic employees.
Mr. Castillo is a finance and business executive with over 20 years of experience in management, operations, finance, budgeting, and accounting across private, public, and university settings. He serves as the Co-President and Board Member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of South Florida, is a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), and is a recipient of the NACUBO National Rising Star Award. Additionally, he is a committee member of the NACUBO Emerging Leaders Program.
Mr. Castillo is pursuing his Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Public Finance at Florida International University, focusing his research on public finance, performance measures in higher education, and related fields. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
